I have a balanced opinion on this topic. Let me express my single and straight point of view to validate it. Superiority has got a definition in our minds, different for different us. Does that definition says that it applies to only any one of ancient or modern being, no!. If a modern man is superior, ancient man is superior too because he had laid the foundation for all of it. Similarly, if ancient man is superior, modern man is superior too because he has just led the developemnts to this stage. Therefore, terms like superiority, good, bad, potential donnot apply to only some people, it just needs capabilitiy in a person to incur such qualities and every one of us, you, me and even a creature on this globe can make itself deserved to be called superior and all it needs is passionate determination with dedication.
Anju, Appreciation your response You have good ideas to express.. but I feel clarity is missing in conveying ideas... follow my suggestion. I suggest, first better to convey your ideas in simple sentences, later you focus on complex sentences with technical terminology. To convey ideas with difficult vocabulary using complex sentence formation, clarity is missing. think of it.
I have a balanced persuasion because there are no terms like superior or inferior among people.The above images of Aryabhatta and Abdulkalam justifies the different ways each one them had gone through.It doesn't mean that Aryabhatta is superior than Kalam or vice versa.Being a social citizen, they had followed there passion and made impossible as possible.Superiority doesn't lie in the epoch where we are but lies in the committed and sincere action.Therefore,an expression of determination and continuous effort in any field can make one superior.
I agree with you. But I think ancient man is more superior than modern man. I'll justify my statement. At present whatever we are using is because of ancient man and their discoveries. If they didn't discover new things ,our lives could be miserable then ever. Like discovering fire and inventing wheel , which is considered as one of he best discovery by our ancestors. And other examples are like money, trading system etc. They built Flatform for everything we are doing today. Even for surgeries . And for dangerous diseases they have a solution, which now a days is hard for many scientist to prepare a cure. As per knowledge ,their is no comparison.
Yes,it's true that without ancient civilization there's no present technology.But at the same time when we talk about superiority in people the contrivance might change. If ancient doctors are good enough in their practices then why there were many demises caused due to plague,T.B,and many infectious diseases? At present days we have abounding therapies which can cure many diseases.So,the point is superiority in a person doesn't lie in the epoch but lies in commited and sincere action.

Yes! I agree with manognya. Superiority doesnt lie in the epouch. For example, we were given the picture of aryabhatta and abdul kalam. We would never know what if Abdul kalam was alive at that time will create, a wheel, fire or more extraordinary than that and vice versa with aryabhatta. It's only their talent which deserves appreciation but comparison is something of no point or logic.
The question of superiority does not exist in terms of knowledge because everyone is gem in their respective fields and contribute in their respective fields....ancient era gave the basic and fundamentals like discovery of wheel,fire etc had bought a great change in human life. while the modern era started improving and developing new technologies like electricity,satellite,auto mobiles etc..We keep on updating ourselves as the time passes the so called ancient man of our time are modern in their era...and the same goes on we so called modern man become ancient for the upcoming generations.

I support the statement both are equal because in my veiw the ancient one has helped the modern one to make new things and create marvellous things ,which means that it is the combination of modern and ancient inteligience ,which also means whith out their knowledge we are nothing whithout the modern people thir knowledge has no value, so i conclude it with an example,aryabhata has shown a picture of idea on many math caluclations which led to more caluclations and dr apj abdul kalam has used them in his first rocket.
